Our History
Jackson’s Rēwena Pāraoa is a naturally made artisan sourdough bread. Rēwena, or Māori bread, is a sweet, white loaf that uses a natural starter produced from potatoes.
Perfect from breakfast to dessert, I recommend toasting it with a generous amount of butter and jam!
Each slice represents the whakapapa of my whānau in Whanganui, Aotearoa. From a starter gifted to me by my Grandmother, as it was passed to her by HER Grandmother - right back to the 1800's! Take a loaf home and enjoy!
